Join us in Thunderbird Park for a special National Indigenous Peoples Day Open House. Meet Royal BC Museum team members, community members, Knowledge Keepers, and cultural experts as they share stories, perspectives, and insights into Indigenous histories, cultures, languages, and living traditions.
Visitors are invited to explore at their own pace and connect through meaningful conversation. Deepen your understanding through respectful dialogue in a welcoming environment.
This is a unique opportunity to engage, listen, and reflect while celebrating the enduring knowledge and traditions of Indigenous communities.
Everyone is welcome!
Free to attend. No registration required, drop-in anytime.

Prices subject to change seasonally. Free admission for personal attendants to assist visitors with disabilities or any other special needs.

🎶✨ Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day with Us! ✨🎶

Join us on June 21 from 12–4 PM at the Victoria Conservatory of Music for a free, family-friendly celebration of Indigenous culture, music, and art.

Enjoy an afternoon of workshops and shared experiences, including:
• Learning an ancestral song
• Métis jigging
• Youth-led Bone Game
• Collaborative beat and lyric cypher
• Student music video presentations

📍 900 Johnson Street (Alix Goolden Performance Hall & Wood Hall)
🎟️ Free admission; donations welcome in support of local Indigenous organizations
