"The Trinity offers us three ways to approach and experience God, depending on our season of life, our needs, our understanding and God's intention for us. We might experience God through the awe and majesty of creation, through our relationship with Jesus and his teachings, or through the movement of the Holy Spirit among and within us." - Rev. Louise on Trinity Sunday, after her children's talk using a ball to illustrate one God, three persons.

Louise's sermon on Pentecost. "The next time you find yourself in one of those in-between moments, in a waiting place between jobs, after retirement or after graduation, follow the example of the disciples. Gather with your community, trust in God’s time, and pray. Because, even if it feels like the end of the world as you know it, God is with you." - Rev. Louise Dightam on Ascension Sunday.

Also, don't miss stopping by St Barnabas during Doors Open - Sat May 23 10-5 pm and May 24 1 to 5 pm. https://www.toronto.ca/explore-enjoy/festivals-events/doors-open-toronto/

Once a month we lead an Anglican service for 15 to 20 seniors at Christian-oriented long term care home. Today we found the building decorated with scripture! The residents took great delight in showing us the new signs and reading the verses out loud.

(The residents and their families there do agree to being in a Christian Faith environment- this isn’t something you would see in a public or secular facility)

"... so Rogation Day (being also Mother’s Day) is just the right day to celebrate the Creator, our great Mother - the Mother of our earth and of all of us and of all creatures, the creative, generative force that births new life. And this amazing world is her gift to us." - Rev. Louise Dightam on May 10.

The 11 minute sermon begins at minute 24, followed by this lovely anthem sung by our choir: Dona nobis pacem (from Coronation Mass, K. 317) – W. A. Mozart (1756-1791)

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
