This Sunday, Jesus encounters a snarky woman at a well. A woman who does not suffer fools and has heard it all before. And yet, Jesus breaks through. This International Women’s Day, we honour the women who have carried the emotional labour of the entire world, and look forward to a day when things are gonna get easier.

Sermon: “Some day” with Rev. Bri-anne Swan
Anthem: O-o-h Child with Stephan Ermel and the Choir

Join us in-person and online this Sunday, March 1st!
It’s the Second Sunday of Lent and Jesus has a visitor. A sneaky visitor. A visitor who is afraid...but also curious. Join us this Sunday as we explore some spiritual gymnastics on what it is to be born again, and how the bad guys are sometimes...just misunderstood guys.

Sermon: It starts when you’re always afraid with Rev. Bri-anne Swan
Anthem: For What it’s Worth by Stephen Stills with Stephan Ermel and the choir.

On Wednesday, participants from five different communities of faith gathered for the first of our four part series, “Conversations...For Such a Time as This.”

Session One centred on grief and lament...as spiritual practice, as a means of understanding from where our motivations arise, and as an exercise in community.

Want to join us for future sessions? Sign up with the link in our bio!

Here are some of the slides from the evening.

This Lent, may the Spirit lead us through our own wilderness without letting the wilderness define us.

May we recognize false authority, even when it sounds polished and practical and inevitable.

May we become harder to seduce with spectacle.
And if we are to be cogs, let us be cogs in something turning towards what makes us whole.

And slowly, together…may we find our way back to the garden.

Join us this Sunday as we’re entering Lent in a weary world. We're tired of noise, tired of pressure, tired of measuring our lives by standards that never quite love us back.

This Sunday, we meet Jesus in the wilderness, led by the Spirit, facing temptations that still feel familiar: the quick fix, the hunger for spectacle, and the seduction of power. These aren’t just ancient stories. They’re our stories too. The pull toward distraction. The pressure to perform. The lie that we are only worth what we produce.

Lent invites us to resist those stories...and to ask what we might cultivate instead.

Sermon: A cog in something turning with Rev. Bri-anne Swan
Anthem: Woodstock by Joni Mitchell with Stephan Ermel and the choir

🚀✨ There’s something happening here… ✨🚀
On Thursday night, our youth became the crew of Space Station ORION, launched into a mission filled with mystery, urgency, and purpose. When the station’s AI detected a signal from deep space and the countdown began, they had a choice: panic… or step up in faith and unity.
With 90 minutes on the clock and 5 challenging puzzles ahead of them, they worked together to decode the signal, reboot the AI, and stop the station from drifting into the void. And they did it — every challenge completed, every obstacle overcome. 💫
But it was more than just puzzles and a countdown. There’s something happening here. God is building teamwork, growing leadership, and strengthening faith. God’s reminding us that when we work together with courage and trust, even the biggest missions can be accomplished.
We’re so proud of this crew. The same determination that saved ORION is the kind of spirit that will change the world. 🌍
