On Thurs. July 18, from 5:30 to 8:30, the St. John's Anglican Church, West Toronto front yard welcomes parishioners, friends, family, neighbours, and local community to drop by and discuss their concerns, interests, and ideas regarding the future of St. John’s, our community partners – St. John the Beloved Church, Early Enrichment Day Care, and Alcoholics Anonymous – and our beloved church building.

Come hear brief updates on all the efforts and communications that have been going on and the progress that has been made so far. And most importantly, come share new ideas and feedback.

Compline service has not been done at St. John's in some time and we are pleased to bring it back. Our St. John’s version is a bit more contemporary without the traditional chants but includes evening hymns and beautiful prelude and postlude music. Our service also includes a Celtic blessing and an interesting version of our Saviour's Prayer from the New Zealand Anglican Church. Musicians for this service are Stephen Targett on piano and Lee Ramsay on vocals.

Thank you to our regular guest organist and parishioner John Stephenson, our Priest-in-Charge Mother Alexandra Stone, and our People's Warden Andrea Rutty, for putting this special service together.

Everyone could use some peace right now. And this service is a great way to show support for St. John’s continuing as a welcoming space for all.
