All it takes is one lie to get caught in a web you can't escape. It says in Psalm 7:14-15, “Behold, he travails with wickedness, And he conceives mischief and brings forth falsehood. He has dug a pit and hollowed it out, And has fallen into the hole which he made.”

This Friday, let’s join our hearts together in prayer and discover the saving truth that only God can give.

Stream Pray O'Clock live at 12:00 NN on Facebook and YouTube.

Choosing truth isn’t always easy in a world where compromise and dishonesty are normalized. But God calls us to a higher standard—a life that honors truth in our hearts, our words, and our actions.

If you want to take your next step toward living truthfully, message us. We’d love to journey with you and pray for you.

Lying may have become so normal that you hardly notice it anymore. It can slip into everyday conversations and quietly damage your relationships without you realizing it. This may seem harmless or socially acceptable, but they are still lies. Here are a few examples we often overlook and treat as normal.

Sometimes, we avoid the truth to make ourselves look good, thinking it will only bring embarrassment or pain. But God reminds us that the truth sets us free and leads us to experiencing the best plans He has for us. Where in your life are you tempted to hide the truth instead of trusting God with it?

Trust and truth go together. You can't trust someone who is not truthful, and you cannot be truthful to someone you don't trust.

"Therefore, laying aside falsehood, speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, for we are members of one another." — Ephesians 4:25

Series title: 10 Commandments
Speaker: Ptr. Marty Ocaya
Message title: Be Truthful: Worship the God of Truth
1. Truth Sets Us Free
Jesus teaches that truth brings freedom, while deception reflects the influence of the enemy, the "father of lies." Genuine freedom comes from embracing God's truth and living honestly.

2. Truth Strengthens Relationships
God calls believers to walk in the light, confess sin, and reject self-deception, because restoration begins with honesty.

3. Truth Saves
Truth is found in Jesus Christ, who is "the way, the truth, and the life." A life centered on Christ enables people to live truthfully and resist deception. When believers trust God fully and walk in His truth, they experience spiritual freedom, transformation, and become a positive influence on their families, communities, and the world.

“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.”
Exodus 20:16
