Good Morning Friends,

Prayer Update please remember to pray for:

Stan Peter's Aunt Mary who is in a hospice --- as she says, "Waiting for Jesus." Pray that God will continue to encourage her, and fill her heart and mind with peace.

Pray for Edna who cannot attend Church as often as she would like because of feeling physically frail. Pray for God's encouragement to bless and strengthen her.

Pray for Shirley R. that God's healing grace will fall on her like gentle rain, and that she will be healed of her past trauma, and encouraged as she makes a return to the workplace.

Pray for our Church family --- that Christ will bring unity and love, and that all will feel welcomed and embraced as we come together to worship Him, and that His healing power will be manifest among us.

When in doubt, open your Bible to Philippians 4:6-7 and pray as the Holy Spirit leads you, and thereby rest in Christ's amazing grace.

Be blessed and strengthened Brothers and Sisters in Christ's power. Amen!

Good Morning Friends,

It is Wednesday morning, and the week is flying past. This morning I asked God about our mission as a local Church, and his answer did not waver. We are to, "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel ..." (Matthew 28). This means forsaking the things of the past, we are to reach forward to the things that lie ahead "... toward the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:13).

As promised on Sunday last, here is the You Tube information that is well worth our time and attention. Admittedly this is about Churches that were dying, ours is not. But, we are still attempting to establish a means by which we can strengthen our Christian Community; become more relevant, and effectively reach into our geographic area of Saskatoon. Here in this piece are some strategies that can bring us closer to our local community, and create some potential opportunities to reach our world with the Gospel.

To find the piece, cut and paste: "The 7 Churches That Refused to Close — And What Every Dying Congregation Needs to Hear About" in the YouTube search box. It will be one of the most important 30 minutes in the life of our Church, and I believe for each one of us.

Friends, our Church building corner stone is dated 1963. The congregation has existed since 1962, and was characterized by prayer and faith. Can we do or be any less prayerful and dedicated?

So, as well as praying for our saints, please pray for God to reveal the way forward for Bay Park Baptist Church. How can we utilize our building to serve "the Lost?" How would God have us move in ministry toward the people of Saskatoon. Remember "Ministry" means "Servitude." Therefore. our combined prayer should be: "Lord please show us how to serve our commnunity." And then, in times spent in the Word and in prayer, listen to the voice of God as He describes the way forward.

This evening we meet for our Mid-week Bible Study in the Book of Jeremiah ch.27 the study this evening is called, "Violent History Ordained by God." Intrigued? Come and join us.

Friday at 6:30pm next week we will kick-off our Youth Group, and we are excited. All kids from gd.7 and up are welcome. If this is you please join us, or you have, or know teens in this age group, please let them know about this ministry re-start.

We are still looking for volunteers from our membership to attend the SBA Fall Meeting as delegates. This is an opportunity to help shape our association, and affect its operations for the two years ahead. This is a single commitment of one day given to the Kingdom for the benefit of our Churches in Saskatchewan.

I pray that you are experiencing supernatural expressions of God's Grace and Favor.

Good Morning Friends,

Another busy week at Bay Park Baptist Church — lots of prayer and visitation, preparation and study of the Scriptures, and various forms of ministry. I trust all are enjoying vibrant times of personal devotional study to enrich our lives.

Prayer Requests:

Please pray for Mary Peters who is in a hospice — as she says, “Waiting to go home!” Please pray that God will continue to pour out His grace for Mary.

Please also pray for Shirley Richards as she continues in her Return to Work processes. Pray that God will afford her healing and protection as she encounter the various challenges she must face.

Please pray for Edna who is limited in her ability to attend with us on Sundays. Pray that God—by His Spirit will comfort and encourage her. She also enjoys visits and phone calls if you have time.

Please pray for our Church Leadership Team (Church Board) as we navigate the coming year-end. Pray for wisdom , strength, and courage to do the things necessary to ensure our Church continues to honor out Heavenly Father in all we do.

Please pray for the upcoming meeting on Sunday as we as members examine the financial update, and as we contemplate the coming budget year.

Pray for a rich harvest of souls for the Kingdom through our various ministries this Fall.

Notices:
Sunday October 4, 2026 we will spend a few minutes examining and discussing our financial report. All members, please allow at least half an hour following our Sunday Morning Worship Service to do due diligence to this process. This will be a “Members Only Event.”

Remember Bubble Gum Club at the Church this evening at 6:00pm; our Bible Study with the McIntosh family in Warman at 7:00pm; our Community Bible Study at the home of the Borines Family on Saturday at 6:00pm, our Early Risers’ Bible Study and Discussion Group at 9:00am on Sunday before our Worship Service at 10:30am. Mid-week Bible Study next Wednesday at 7pm at the Church.

If you cannot attend any of these, please faithfully pray for God to bless each ministry with the presence of His Holy Spirit.

Our Message on Sunday will be “The Certainty of Calling” from Acts 18:1-23. Please pre-read the passage if possible.

Good Morning Friends,

It is Wednesday, and Our God is Good! This is the first update of Fall 2026.

Please remember to pray for our Membership Meeting this coming Sunday. We need to have a quorum to complete any business and so this is an appeal to all registered members to free yourself up to attend to complete the important work of the membership.

Remember this Thursday sees the start of the Bubble Gum Club for our kids K-6. If you have neighbors with children in this age bracket please encourage them to come and join in. And pray for effectiveness in this important ministry.

Our community Bible Study will restart next week on Saturday. I will post the address for the fellowship.

Mid-week Bible Study this evening at the Church. We are studying the Book of Jeremiah --- an in depth look at Old Testament Prophecy. Come and join us as we fellowship around God's Word.

Please pray for our ageing members who find it difficult to come to Church on Sundays. We know they join us in our "live-stream", but nothing beats a hug or a warm handshake. Consider how you might involve yourself in blessings our saints who cannot make it to Church on Sundays.

Doug Currie is struggling with his breathing. Please pray for God to breathe out Healing Grace on our dear brother. Also for Shirley who continues to struggle against the effects of Workplace Trauma.
