The Day of Arafah is one of the most important and beloved days of the year. It’s a day filled with mercy, forgiveness and countless opportunities to earn reward. 🤍

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah.” (Muslim)

Take advantage of today by increasing in du’a, dhikr, Qur’an recitation, charity and sincere repentance. Don’t underestimate the value of small good deeds on this special day.

Keep the Ummah and all those facing hardship across the world in your du’as today as well 🤲

May Allah accept from us all and allow us to witness many more blessed days of Arafah.

Third Prayer – 10:30 AM

For the second and third prayer please arrive only 30 minutes in advance to allow time for the congregation to exit.

The Ottawa Imams Council has announced that the blessed month of Dhul Hijjah begins tomorrow, May 18.

🤲 The Day of Arafah will be observed on Tuesday, May 26
🕋 Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari)

As we enter these blessed days, increase in salah, Qur’an, dhikr, du’a, fasting, and charity. May Allah allow us to make the most of the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah and accept from us all. 🌙
