When life gets difficult, what comes out of you first? Is it worry, fear, or worship?
Yesterday, Pastor Mark reminded us that worship isn’t just something we should and can do when everything is going well. It can become an expression of faith right in the middle of the battle. Through Revelation 4, we were reminded that God is worthy of glory, honour, and praise, not just in our best moments, but in every season!

As you step into this week, whatever you may be carrying, take a moment to turn your attention back to God. He is still on the throne. Let your worship be louder than your circumstances, and let your heart be anchored in who He is!

“We fear man so much because we fear God so little.”

Yesterday, Pastor Mark shared this challenging thought as we explored what it means to truly walk in the fear of God. When we lose sight of God’s greatness, it becomes easy to give more weight to people’s opinions than to His Word. But when we understand who God is, our confidence shifts. We no longer have to live for the approval of others; we can live to honour Him.

As you head into this week, ask yourself: Whose voice is shaping your decisions? May our lives reflect a deep reverence for God and a willingness to follow Him above all else.

Join us for a focused discipleship event designed to help you grow deeper in your walk with Jesus and live it out intentionally. Through our breakout sessions, we’ll explore what it means to be a disciple, how we grow spiritually, how to discover and live out our God-given purpose, and how to disciple others in everyday life. Whether you’re new to faith or have been following Jesus for years, this event will equip and encourage you to take your next step. We hope you will join us!

This Thanksgiving Sunday, we were reminded that it’s time to expect, it’s time to praise, and it’s time to dig!

In Numbers 21:16-18, we read about God’s promise to provide water for His people. Pastor Mark unpacked this passage, challenging us to gather in expectation, sing to the sand before we see the well spring up, and keep digging in faith. It’s a reminder that our response matters even when we haven’t yet seen the outcome. We can keep trusting God, keep praising Him, and keep faithfully doing what He has called us to do!

We also have the privilege of giving through our annual Thanksgiving offering to support our Algonquin Outreach, CityKidz, and Bank Street Refuge. What a meaningful way to express our gratitude and come together as a church to support the work God is doing in our city!
