Happy birthday to my son, my firstborn child, the son of my strength, the one who transformed me from being a husband to the privilege and honor of becoming a biological father. A happy birthday to our very own Pastor Jesse Kiirya.
Thank you for your steadfastness in ministry. Thank you for being a wonderful son at home, for continually making your mother and I proud parents.
Thank you for standing with your mom and I in ministry. Thank you for your humility and simplicity, thank you for your dedication to serve God and for inspiring your generation to serve God with you.

It now makes sense you were born just a few days from my own birthday—on the 12th rather than the 9th—symbolizing perfection and completeness; truly, you are the son of my perfection, destined to accomplish what I could not and complete what I cannot.
