Happy Labour Day weekend! Though most young folk have returned to school either last week or the week before, our college and university students still have a couple more days before they return. We’ll bless backpacks tomorrow morning to ask for God’s protection through this school year.

Tomorrow we’ll also have our welcome back BBQ after the service at 9:30 am to welcome everyone back from vacations -- including our choir and Sunday School -- refreshed and ready for a new season.

Urgent Request to Extend Centre 454 Relocation
Contact your mayor and the City councillors to ask for more time.
Centre 454 provides essential services and support to some of Ottawa’s most vulnerable residents and is an important part of the broader community and social-service network in Lowertown, Sandy Hill, the ByWard Market and surrounding neighbourhoods. As part of long‑term planning, Belong Ottawa and the City have concluded after January 2027, Centre 454 will relocate. One of our Diocesan Community Ministries, Belong Ottawa (.official and Belong Ottawa on social media) is committed to ensuring that people who rely on these services continue to have safe, consistent and uninterrupted access to support and is asking the City of Ottawa for more time.
