Applying for funding is a great way for churches to hire summer students and carry out some great summer ministry. The federal grant funding applications are open now. The provincial applications will open in the coming months. If you have never applied before and would like some help with the process, reach out [email protected]

We had another great KMLL with kids min volunteers, staff and pastors from across PEI last weekend. It was a blessing to gather, encourage one another, and learn together. We are now booking KMLL events for the spring. Reach out to find out more details [email protected] and atlanticbaptist.ca/nextgen.

Join us at the CBAC Justice Summit as we explore this year’s theme: The Radical Hospitality of Jesus.

We’re excited to welcome Daniel Yang, Senior Director of Global Mission and Church Movements at World Relief, who will help us consider the realities of migration and immigration, what it means to cultivate belonging, and how these questions shape the future of the church.

Daniel brings a wealth of experience as a pastor, church planter, and missional strategist. He is the co-author of Inalienable: How Marginalized Kingdom Voices Can Help Save the American Church and Becoming a Future-Ready Church.

Come ready to learn, reflect, and imagine together what it looks like for our churches to embody the radical hospitality of Jesus.

Don't miss it, register today through the link in our bio!

This past Saturday, kids ministry volunteers, staff and pastors gathered from around the HRM for a time of sharing and learning together at KMLL. We discussed classroom management, connecting with parents, acknowledging today’s culture, and sharing Jesus with this generation. There is a similar event next Saturday, October 24 in Charlottetown, PE. Details and registration at cbacyf.ca. Questions or want to host a future event? [email protected].

CBAC NextGen News -

As the leaves change colour and Thanksgiving draws near, we're reminded how much we have to be grateful for. And today, we're especially grateful for our pastors serving in NextGen ministry.

Wayfinding Fall Retreat was amazing! In the 2026-27 cohort we have 29 students that were nominated by 14 different CBAC churches and camps. Most of these grade 11 & 12 students were meeting for the first time, and formed some quick bonds over shared experiences of worship, teaching, small groups, camp fire and free time. Pray for them as they meet monthly with their mentors over the next nine months, and listen for God’s voice speaking into their lives.
