As many students graduate from high school, pray for wisdom and courage as they step into new seasons of life. Ask God to guide their decisions and surround them with supportive community. Pray that they would know God’s presence in every transition.

What if your church’s movement this summer could help strengthen food security here at home and around the world? 👟🌍

Active in Mission invites churches across Canada to walk, run, cycle, paddle, and move together with purpose - all while supporting food security ministries in Canada and 17 countries around the world.

This video shows how every step taken helps bring practical care, hope, and support to communities facing hunger.

Registration is now open, and your church can join anytime this summer! Visit https://buff.ly/V5Qvvxe or cbmin.org/AIM to get active and join the movement! 👟

What would it look like for churches to become places skilled in the art of repair?

There were specific decisions made theologically in the processes of colonization that have left us without some of the tools and skills we need to do this important work. Churches are being called to reckon more honestly with our histories, and our roles in systems that have caused harm. But many of us are overwhelmed and don’t know how to take the next steps in a journey of reconciliation.

In this Masterclass, we will draw on the theological and ethical framework developed in Mend: An Invitation from Jesus to Return to Land-based Repair. This session invites participants into a deeper engagement with the story of Zacchaeus in Luke 19 and how we can address the needs of right relationship in our own communities, whether we are in touch with Indigenous neighbours or not. We will also explore new frameworks for leaving a lasting legacy when churches are facing closure.

Hosted on Zoom this June 16, 1:30 PM AST. Register: https://buff.ly/sxPgKDy
