Family is more than the people we’re related to—it’s the people who walk with us through life. The ones who celebrate our victories, support us through challenges, pray with us, encourage us, and remind us that we’re never meant to do life alone.

That’s the heart of the Church.

As followers of Jesus, we’re part of something bigger than ourselves—a family that spans generations, backgrounds, cultures, and communities. A place where you’re known, valued, needed, and loved. A place where burdens are shared, faith is strengthened, and everyone has a seat at the table.

At Hillside, one of the things we cherish most is this truth:

Here, we’re all family.

And this Sunday, we get to celebrate that in a special way.

Churches from across Greater Moncton will gather as One Church—one body, one faith, one family—joining together to worship Jesus and declare that what unites us is greater than what divides us.

Whether you have a church home, are new to faith, or are simply looking for community, we’d love for you to join us.

In a world flooded with questions about reality, discerning truth can feel impossible. But some things are undeniably real. Jesus lived his message; his words and actions perfectly aligned. He taught love, then lived it by embracing the marginalized and forgiving his enemies. His credibility is undeniable.

What if the most powerful communication skill isn't what you say, but who you are when you say it?

This week, we launched Crack the Code, a new series exploring the power behind Jesus' communication.

Jesus didn't just speak well—He lived what He taught. He was credible, continually learning, and memorable. His words changed lives because His actions backed them up, His wisdom was deep, and His message was clear.

As we head into a new week, it's worth asking:

➡️ Do my words match my actions?
➡️ Am I still learning and growing?
➡️ Am I using my communication to encourage, influence, and bring hope?

The way we communicate has the power to shape relationships, impact lives, and point people toward something greater.

Part 1 is available on our YouTube Channel: MonctonHillside.

Looking forward to Part 2 on June 14 at 9AM & 10:45AM

At its core, communication is the invisible thread that ties our hearts together—a reflection of the divine spark within each of us. It’s found in the brave vulnerability of sharing a quiet feeling, and the generous grace of listening without judgment, honoring the sacred space between us. When we truly connect, we do more than just speak; we become vessels for God's love, translating our inner worlds to turn unfamiliar spaces into a shared home where we are fully known and deeply understood.

Witnessing the younger generation find their hope and strength through faith in God is truly inspiring. Their devotion is a powerful reminder of enduring faith. So blessed to be led this past Sunday by a generation that sincerely loves Jesus. .
