We're excited to be partnering with Pray Nova Scotia in hosting numerous prayer sets for Joint Prayer Gathering Halifax!

Churches and believers from across Halifax are coming together under one banner: to seek the face of God for our city, our region, and the greater Church.

The Joint Prayer Gathering Halifax is a 26-hour relay of united, cross-denominational prayer.

From August 21–22, we'll gather across several local churches, led by a diverse group of church leaders from across our city. Whether you can stay for one hour, drop in for a specific prayer set, or join us for multiple blocks of prayer, your presence and voice matter.

We will be hosting prayer sets on August 22nd at 7am, 1pm and 7pm right here at 222 Sackville Drive.

Because of Canada Day, we won’t be gathering for our regular Wednesday evening Prayer Room this week.

Instead, we want to encourage you to set aside some intentional time to pray for our nation—whether on your own, with your family, or with a few friends.

As we celebrate Canada Day, let’s thank God for His faithfulness, pray for His mercy, and ask Him to do a fresh work across our nation.

We hope you have a great Canada Day! We’ll see you on Thursday at 12:15 PM for our online prayer gathering on Zoom.

We are so excited to have Jordy and Shelbi Shutt joining us this Sunday at both services!

Jordy is a gifted worship leader with a passion for capturing the heart of God through songwriting for the Church and currently serves on staff at Church of the City New York as the Pastor of Worship. 

Shelbi is a pastor, speaker, author, and disability advocate. She has dedicated her life to helping people come alive to the power of God’s presence in and through their weakness.

Bring a friend, and come expectant for what God is going to do!

Our 21 Days of Prayer starts tonight in the sanctuary. We’d love for you to join us as we intentionally seek God together as a church family through daily time in His presence at home and weekly gatherings in the Prayer Room.

Prayer Room Times:
Monday - 7pm (Sanctuary)
Tuesday - 7am
Wednesday - 7pm (Mezz)
Thursday - 12:15pm (Online)
Friday - 7pm (Mezz)
Sunday - 7:45am/10:15am (Pre-Service Prayer)

Additional Gatherings:
May 30th @ 9am - Family Prayer Room
May 31st @ 6pm - Night of Worship

If you’ve never joined us in the Prayer Room, we’d encourage you to make it part of your weekly rhythm. At Rock Church, we put prayer at the centre of everything we do — to seek God’s tangible presence, to be transformed by reflection of His Word, and to believe for a fresh move of God in our region.

We have in-person gatherings throughout the week designed with your schedule in mind: Tuesdays at 7am and Wednesdays at 7pm, along with an updated Thursday midday prayer gathering online at 12:15pm on Zoom — a half-hour pause in the middle of your day to slow down, pray, and refocus.
