On Friday, we’ll slow down together and remember the death of Jesus at our Good Friday service at 10:30 AM.

Then on Sunday, April 5, we’ll celebrate the empty tomb and our risen Savior at 10:30 AM.

Day 1 of our reading journey!

The genealogy of Jesus the Messiah…

We’re beginning our New Testament Reading Journey today with a list of names and the birth of Jesus.

At first glance, genealogies can seem dry or hard to pronounce (and honestly many of them definitely are 😅). But every name in these lists tell us something powerful:

God works through generations.
He includes outsiders and unexpected people.
He fulfills promises through real families with real stories.

And as I (Pastor Stefan) often tell our youth group: “Say them with confidence and no one will question it!” 😄

Don’t skip over the names, they are part of how God brought hope into the world.
