As we prepare for our move back upstairs on September 13, a dedicated crew of volunteers are busy cleaning the church of all the construction dust. Here are some sneak peek pictures of the church in progress- it won’t be long now! In the course of the cleaning we have so far found four chocolate Easter eggs that the kids must have missed this year (we hope they’re from this year anyway!)

Renovation Update: Week 12 saw another week of steady progress as the renovation continues to take shape.

-Plumbing fixtures have now been installed, marking a major milestone
-Painting is almost complete, with final touch‑ups underway
-Site cleanup has begun, giving the space a much more finished feel
-Door power assists have been installed, a step to better accessibility
-Finishing touches are really coming together
-One piece of less‑great news: our local supplier for the bifold doors has just been notified of a manufacturer delay in Quebec. As a result, installation of the bifold doors is now scheduled for November 13. This will not affect the overall use of the space, and won't affect our planned move back upstairs

It has been a while since we posted an update to the progress of our Narthex renovation! But even though we have been quiet, work has been moving steadily along.

Week 11 has brought another wave of visible progress as the finishing details begin to take shape throughout the building.

Tile installation is now complete in the entrance and both washrooms, giving these areas a clean, fresh look.

Pot lights have been installed, adding bright, even lighting that already makes the space feel more welcoming.

Switches and receptacles are in place, an important step toward final electrical completion.

Baseboard installation is underway, adding definition and bringing the rooms closer to their finished appearance.

Each week adds another layer, and it’s exciting to see how quickly the space is transforming.
