This Sunday was a special one at Centre Point as we marked another For The Good Sunday.

We had the privilege of welcoming Scott Thiessen from who shared about the important work they are doing to help address food insecurity in our community by providing practical support and resources to those in need.

We were reminded that being the Church is about more than what happens inside our Sunday gathering. It is about loving our neighbours, serving our community, and being a tangible expression of God’s care to those who need it most.

Thank you, Scott, for joining us and for the important work Raphael House is doing right here in our community.

Through For The Good, Centre Point partners with local and global organizations that are making a difference. Together, we get to be part of something bigger than ourselves as we help bring hope, healing, and practical support to people in need.

Thank you, Centre Point, for your generosity and for continuing to live out our mission of helping people find and follow Jesus.

This Sunday is For The Good Sunday.

At Centre Point, we believe faith should make a difference beyond the walls of a church building. That’s why on the last Sunday of every month we highlight a local organization that is making a positive impact in our community and encourage everyone to give just $5 toward their work.

This month we’re excited to welcome Scott Thiessen from Raphael House, who will be sharing about the incredible work they do supporting women and families in our community.

Every week, students are building friendships, asking great questions, having fun, and discovering more about who God is and how much He loves them.

We love seeing young people grow in confidence, character, and faith while being surrounded by leaders who genuinely care about them.

YOUTH CAMP IS BACK. ☀️

August 24–28
Grades 6–12

We are so excited to be partnering again with Riverside Calvary for an unforgettable week of camp this summer. From late night games and lake days to worship, friendships, and moments that can shape a student’s faith for years to come, camp is always one of the highlights of the year.

This year, both Jr. and Sr. Youth are heading to camp together.

Cost:
• $360 | Transportation included (ferry + shuttle)
• $330 | Meet at camp

Late registrations after July 26 will have an added $30 fee.

We are also looking for leaders to help serve at camp, especially those with first aid, lifeguard training, or an interest in leading a small group. If that is you, reach out to Connor at [email protected]
