Coming up at our next Speaker Series event, former CBC Radio host and author Mark Forsythe. Best known as the long-time voice of BC Almanac, Mark will reflect on what he’s learned from decades of exploring B.C. history—on the ground, through book projects and in conversation with listeners. He’ll talk about why local history still matters in a fast-changing province, and discuss how groups like the Langley Heritage Society help keep community stories alive. A member of the Langley Heritage Society for a dozen years, Mark is now chairing the board of directors and welcomes members’ ideas on heritage preservation in the Langleys. Join us Tuesday March 17th at Milner chapel at 7 pm.

Milner Chapel is our favourite venue for hosting the Langley Heritage Society's ongoing speaker series. Thanks to the volunteers who care for this historic treasure that opened in 1886.
