This is how we end every Sunday service at Sonrise Church Maple Ridge. We receive the sending and step into a new week not in our own strength, but in the authority Jesus has given us. Not striving, but surrendered and obedient. Not representing ourselves, but bearing witness to Jesus.

Jesus, we ask you to breathe on us again. Fill us with the Holy Spirit, that what was formed in prayer, worship, and the Word would be lived out in faithfulness as we carry Your hope and purpose to those who are far from You.

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ centered 12 step program that helps people find freedom from life’s hurts, hang ups, and habits through biblical principles.
You are welcome here. CR offers a safe, confidential, and judgment free space where you can find hope, support, and healing. Whether you are facing challenges with relationships, codependency, addiction, anger, grief, abuse, food issues, or something else, you are not alone.

From Sunday, September 6th to Sunday, September 13th, we’re joining believers across Canada and around the world for the Global Week of Prayer, united around this year’s theme: At the Name of Jesus.

There are many ways to take part throughout the week, with opportunities to gather in person at our Surrey location, join us online, and a 6:00 AM gathering on Thursday, September 10th at our Maple Ridge location.

Prayer is the foundation of everything we do. Come seek God with us as we pray together!

If Jesus has marked us, He has marked us for mission. ❤️

There is no part of following Jesus that doesn’t put us on mission with Him. We are called to carry His hope and purpose to those who are far from God. We proclaim the Good News with our words, demonstrate it with our lives, and trust the Holy Spirit to bring transformation.
