Nash Road Gospel Hall We are a group of Christians who gather at 105 Nash Road South, in the east end of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

In the early 1900’s Hamilton’s population was about 51,000. During the next few years the population was rapidly increasing and by 1914 it had doubled to over 100,000. During this time believers who formerly met in the McNab Street Gospel Hall had moved to the east end of the city nearing the city limits. It was there interest to see a new testimony established in Hamilton’s east end. In about 191

3, the believers having rented a building on Rosslyn Avenue, commenced a new work in the Gospel and established another testimony to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Than in 1920, a Gospel Hall was built on a one-half lot at the corner of Kensington and Cannon Streets. Cars were scare and believers generally lived within walking distance to the Gospel Hall. An aging building, lack of suitable parking and increasing numbers resulted in moving to its present location on Nash Road in November 2009.

Am I too far gone?

No one is outside the reach of Jesus Christ. Scripture consistently shows a Savior who pursues those who are lost, broken, and spiritually far from God. He does not wait for people to fix themselves before calling them; He calls them to Himself so He can restore them.

Jesus came to seek and save the lost. That means those who feel distant, ashamed, or unworthy are exactly the ones He extends grace toward. His mercy is not limited by human failure, and His power to save is not weakened by the depth of someone’s past.

What feels like “too far gone” is never beyond Christ’s ability to redeem. The cross is proof that no one is too far for His grace and no one is too broken for His restoration.

The invitation of the gospel is not based on qualification, but on Christ’s finished work.

Is faith just believing God exists?

Believing that God exists is not the full picture of biblical faith. Scripture shows that even demons acknowledge God's existence, yet remain unchanged. True saving faith goes deeper than intellectual agreement.

Faith in Christ means trusting Him completely, relying on His finished work for salvation, surrendering to His lordship, and resting in His grace rather than personal effort or moral performance.

It is not about adding Jesus to a life already in control. It is about entrusting your entire life to the One who saves, redeems, and transforms.

Salvation is not earned or achieved. It is received by grace through faith, and even that faith is a gift from God.

Real faith clings to Christ, depends on Christ, and follows Christ.

Trusting God begins with knowing who He is.

God is wise, faithful, sovereign, and unchanging. Scripture reminds us that His understanding is far beyond our own and that His ways are always perfect, even when we cannot see the full picture.

Life will bring seasons of uncertainty, waiting, and questions, but God's character never changes. He remains faithful to His promises and trustworthy in every circumstance.

Trusting God is more than a feeling. It is a daily decision to rely on His wisdom instead of our own understanding and to believe that He is working for His glory and our good.

No matter what season you're facing today, God is worthy of your complete trust.

Waiting on God is not wasted time.

Biblical waiting is not passive delay but active trust in God's timing, wisdom, and faithfulness. Throughout Scripture, we see that God strengthens, sustains, and prepares His people as they wait on Him.

When answers seem delayed or circumstances remain uncertain, God has not forgotten you. His timing is never late, never random, and never outside of His perfect plan. He is always working, even when you cannot yet see the outcome.

Those who wait on the Lord find renewed strength, deeper faith, and lasting hope because their confidence rests in God's unchanging character.

Trust His timing. Rest in His promises. Wait with expectation.

Does God care about what you're going through?

Scripture reveals a God who is not distant, indifferent, or unaware of human suffering. The Lord sees, knows, and cares for His people. He is near to the brokenhearted and attentive to those who call upon Him.

God's compassion is not merely a feeling. Throughout Scripture, He demonstrates His love, mercy, and faithfulness toward those who are weary, afflicted, and burdened. Even in seasons of grief, uncertainty, and pain, His presence remains constant.

The greatest proof of God's care is found in Jesus Christ. Through His life, death, and resurrection, God has shown His love for sinners and provided the hope that sustains His people through every trial.

No sorrow escapes His notice. No burden is too small for His concern. The God who created all things is near to those who trust in Him.

Guarding your heart matters because it matters to God.

The Bible teaches that your heart is the wellspring of your life, influencing your thoughts, decisions, attitudes, and actions. That's why Scripture calls believers to guard their hearts with wisdom and discernment.

What you allow into your mind and heart will shape the way you live, the choices you make, and your relationship with God. Guarding your heart isn't about fear or control. It's about obedience, spiritual maturity, and honoring Christ in every area of life.

Be intentional about the voices you listen to, the content you consume, and the influences you welcome. Protect your heart, pursue God's truth, and walk faithfully with Him.

Happy Father's Day!

Today we give thanks for fathers and father figures, but we also remember the greatest truth that Father's Day points us to: the love of God.

Every earthly father falls short, but God does not. Through Jesus Christ, we are invited into something greater than a holiday celebration, we are invited into a relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Because of our sin, we were separated from God. Yet in His love, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and rise again, so that all who repent and trust in Him can be forgiven, reconciled to God, and adopted into His family.

This is the good news of the gospel: through Christ, we can know God not only as Creator and King, but as Father.

As we honor fathers today, may we also look to the One whose love never fails, whose wisdom never falters, and whose faithfulness endures forever.

"See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are." - 1 John 3:1

The gospel is not a call to make yourself worthy before coming to God. It is a call to come to Christ because He alone is worthy.

Jesus does not receive people because they have already cleaned up their lives. He receives sinners, forgives them, reconciles them to God, and transforms them by His grace.

Salvation is not accomplished through human effort, self-improvement, or religious performance. It is accomplished through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

Christ is the Savior who seeks the lost, welcomes those who come to Him, and never casts out those the Father gives Him.

Come to Christ, not because you are clean, but because He is able to cleanse.
