We are fortunate to have some talented photographers in our community too.
Croft took these photos of Trinity in one of her very early morning walks.
Thanks, Marion.

Here’s another important story about a Digby resident with an important life, also part of the history of Trinity.
We are honoured by the stories of so many Digby residents over hundreds of years now.
Thanks for telling this story, Digby Area Tourism.

For Women’s History Month, we’re remembering Carolyn Winifred Viets, a Digby-born nursing sister whose First World War service took her across Europe.

She joined the Canadian Army Medical Corps in 1915. Her work carried her from hospitals in France to a hospital ship, then on to Salonica, Greece. After contracting diphtheria in December 1916, she returned to duty in 1917 and worked at a casualty clearing station.

In 1916, Carolyn received the Royal Red Cross, Second Class, for her nursing service. Her name—and those letters, R.R.C.—appears on the First World War Roll of Honour at Trinity Anglican Church, in Digby.

After four years of service, she returned to Canada aboard a hospital ship in 1919. She worked at Camp Hill Hospital in Halifax before being discharged, with Digby listed as the place she planned to call home.

They follow the same readings that we use in the Anglican Church, so by Sunday you will have read each of the readings and a corresponding reflection. There are certainly a few highlights for me, including our annual Journey to Bethlehem and the first Christmas tea we've had in quite a few years!

We are also thrilled to host a new play production from MG Players in the hall and a concert by Rachael MacLean in the church.
