This Sunday, we're celebrating our 188th anniversary - and to mark the occasion, we've invited Rev. Renée MacVicar to be our guest speaker!

Rev. Renée MacVicar ran into God’s grace as a young adult and continues to be changed by that grace every day. Renée currently serves as the Executive Minister for the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada, and has a passion to see everyone joining God in their neighbourhoods. Renée has previously served in churches in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Scotland. She has a degree in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University and theological degrees from Acadia Divinity College. When Renée married Joe, she also gained two beautiful children - Emma and Isabell. She lives in Salisbury, New Brunswick, where she can often be found running, reading or playing board games.

This Sunday is Pentecost! That's the week we celebrate God's gift of the Holy Spirit to the church. This week our memory verse is Acts 2:6:

Looking for some spring plants or spring baking? We have just the event for you! We're hosting a yard, garden, and bake sale on Saturday, May 23rd, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

If you love to bake or are doing some spring cleaning, we're also accepting donations! Volunteers to help set up the day before would also be greatly appreciated. Just send us a message if you'd like to donate something or volunteer.
