And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Acts 4:31

One of the signs of a new testament Christian is once they bowed their heart to the Lord Jesus Christ and prayed for Him to save them they get the indwelling of the Holy Ghost.. the question then becomes why are they not speaking the word of God with boldness? Christians to bow their hearts daily in prayer and, feel their lives shaken and, be filled daily with the Holy Spirit then go out into a world that is lost and undone and proclaim that beautiful name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you're not praying daily if you're not filled with the Holy Spirit and if you are not speaking the word of God with boldness then what signs are identifying you as a Christian?

It is one thing to say you are a Bible believer, but if you have not applied its teachings to your life you are deceived.
Hearing of a great meal will not fill you; knowing the location of a fresh spring water will not quench your thirst. The knowledge that there is a shelter from the storm will not protect you. The information that there is a cure for a disease will not make the sick man whole. My friend unless you live by the Bible, unless you receive it, you cannot possibly believe the Bible, for its very teaching is, unless you do what you hear, you are deceived.

Ever get around those ones that are constantly flying off the handle or never have anything to say unless they're railing on someone or just full of bitterness and anger.. Christian, do yourself a favor, go from the presence of the foolish man.

The world has a saying birds of a feather flock together.. if you are fellowshiping with God loving, Bible living, holy ghost walking, Spirit-filled Christians it will do good to your soul.
If you are around those that are bitter and angry, full of gossip and destructive, it is only a matter of time before it affects your spirit as well.
Go from the presence of foolishness.

Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

The church is suppose to a picture of, and an extension of, the family. It ought to be a place a place of safety, comfort and unity. It should be a city of refuge and sanctuary.

The devil has done a fine job destroying the family unit.
Do you have a problem with the church family?
Perhaps the real concern is what your family is like at home.?
because that is what you carry in when you assemble.

Harmony at home brings harmony to a church
Dysfunction at home brings dysfunction to the church

When you learn how to love like Christ loved, you have fulfilled the law.
