Assalamu alaikum and good morning, Chestermere.

Happy Sunday.These are some of the clips from this morning, Aug 30th Sunday at 9 a.m., after our event, the 3rd Annual Chestermere Muslim Fest at John Peake Memorial Park, where thousands of people from Chestermere, Calgary, and the surrounding areas attended and enjoyed.

The main theme of the event was to bring everybody together and celebrate faith, family, and community.

Our 30+ dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly during the event and worked for several months to plan this beautiful event for the community. Especially on the day of the event, they worked tirelessly to serve the community and stayed until 1 a.m. for the cleanup after the event to make sure the park and everything was neat and clean.

This morning, we came back again to make sure and ensure that the park is clean. This is our city. This is our park, and we all have to keep it neat and clean.

We truly thank our city partners, our respected Mayor Shannon Dean , Councillors Kiran Randhawa , Jenelle Sandboe,entire city team and City Administrative staff for their support to make this happen for the community.

We also sincerely thank all the sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and everyone who attended and helped make this event very successful.

We truly appreciate everyone’s efforts, and we can’t wait to see you all next year — bigger and better!
