What do you do when the obstacles seem insurmountable and the culture around you is hostile? In this message, we dive into the Book of Judges and take a closer look at the life of Deborah—a prophetess, judge, and unlikely warrior. Her story is not just a historical account; it is a timeless call to action.

We hope that you will join us this Sunday as we explore how Deborah’s fervent, faithful and fearless service, unwavering obedience, bold courage, and steadfast faith turned the tide for a nation. Hey Rockyview Family,

“Be strong and courageous.” It’s a familiar verse from the bible, but how do we actually live it out? In a world filled with uncertainty and doubt, God’s message to Joshua is more relevant than ever. Joshua’s example shows us that true courage isn't the absence of fear—it’s walking forward in obedience because the Lord is with you wherever you go."

Join us for this Mosaic Sunday Service where we will see that like Joshua our strength and our courage can be found in God’s presence in our lives, in remembering the goodness and faithfulness of God in the past, and in claiming the truth that we have found in the bible.

Hey Rockyview Family,

This Sunday is Mother’s Day! We want to take the opportunity to express our appreciation to all the Moms and Mother-figures in our lives – and all the ways that they bless our lives. One of the ways we want to do that, is by taking a look at the powerful story of Naomi and Ruth — two women who walked through heartbreak, uncertainty, loss, and disappointment… yet discovered that God was still at work behind the scenes bringing hope, healing, redemption, and restoration.

It’s a story filled with honesty, loyalty, sacrificial love, and the reminder that God specializes in redeeming broken stories.

And honestly, that’s something all of us need.

So whether life feels joyful right now or a little complicated and heavy, we believe this service will encourage your heart.

And this would be a wonderful Sunday to invite a friend, family member, neighbor, or someone who normally wouldn’t attend church.

Ever feel like you’re stuck in a dry season…walking in circles… wondering where God is in the middle of it all?

The Israelites found themselves in that exact place. Right on the edge of the Promised Land, fear held them back—and what followed was a long, stretching season in the wilderness. But here’s the surprising truth: the desert wasn’t wasted time… it was God’s training ground.

This Sunday, we’ll explore how God uses those wilderness seasons to:
• Teach us to trust His provision
• Help us hear His voice more clearly
• Grow our dependence on His protection
• And deepen our experience of His presence

Hey Rockyview Family,

This Sunday, we’re heading to Mount Sinai… to what can only be described as one of the most dramatic “wedding days” in history. Thunder. Fire. A covenant between God and His people. And then—almost unbelievably—an epic failure before the ink is even dry.

It’s a powerful, honest, and surprisingly relatable moment. Because if we’re honest… we’ve all had moments where our commitment to God hasn’t exactly gone according to plan.

This Sunday, we’ll explore:

• What really happened at Mount Sinai
• Why God describes this moment like a marriage
• How the Golden Calf incident reveals something deep about the human heart
• And most importantly—how God responds when His people fail Him

At the center of it all is this incredible truth: Even when we fall short, God is still pursuing relationship with us. He makes a way for us to come back. He wants to dwell with us—not at a distance, but right at the center of our lives.

If you’ve ever wrestled with inconsistency in your faith… or wondered how God responds when you mess up… this message is for you.

Hey Rockyview Family,

Unfortunately, we’ve become the victims of a scam artist again. They are claiming to be “Pastor Scott Wiesner” and trying to get people to buy gift cards and send them photos of the pin numbers on the back. Please DO NOT fall for this scam!

These bogus texts might say something like "I need a favour from you. Text me back when you get my message. - Pastor Scott Wiesner. I need to get Apple gift cards today for some women battling cancer in the hospital but I can't do that right now because of my busy schedule."

Please note that I, or any other RAC Staff member would never ask you to buy gift cards and promise to reimburse you.

One way to combat this twisted scheme is by reporting it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. Click on the link for instructions to report the scheme to them.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where it felt like there was no way out?
This Sunday, as we continue with our “His Story” series, we’ll be looking at one of the most powerful and unforgettable moments in the Bible—the crossing of the Red Sea. It’s a story many of us have heard before… but it’s far more than just a dramatic rescue from the past. It’s a picture of what God still does today.
We’ll explore how:

• God makes a way when there seems to be no way
• He frees us from what once held us captive
• Each of us needs a defining “Red Sea moment” where we step into the freedom He offers

If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or pulled back into old patterns… this message is for you. And here’s the beautiful truth: you don’t have to fight your way to freedom—God fights for you.

This would be a great service to invite a friend, especially someone who might be asking deeper questions about faith or feeling like they’re at a dead end. Together we’ll encounter a God who still makes a way.

Hey Rockyview Family,

What if the very thing that once saved you… became the thing that enslaved you?

This Sunday, we come to one of the most dramatic and powerful moments in Scripture—the story of the plagues and God’s deliverance of His people.

We’ll see how:
• A place of blessing (Egypt) became a place of bo***ge
• God confronts the powers that enslave
• He still sets people free today!
But this isn’t just an ancient story. It’s our story.
Because the truth is—there are still things that try to enslave us: fear, sin, shame, the past, lies we believe about ourselves…
But the good news is that Jesus came to break every chain!

Come join us this Sunday—and consider inviting a friend who could use a fresh start or a reminder of God’s power to set people free.
