The Giving Machine is coming to Calgary!

WE INVITE YOU TO HELP

We are excited to welcome the Giving Machine to Calgary for the first time in Canada. We invite you, your friends and family to come experience this new way to give to local and global charities to help meet their many needs during the Christmas season.
WHAT IS A GIVING MACHINE?

The Giving Machine is a vending machine that instead of selling a candy bar or a can of pop contains items such as goats and chickens, sports equipment and lessons, warm clothing and meals, hygiene and frost bite kits with many more. This year the Giving Machines will offer over 30 items to donate to help those in need locally and globally. 100% of the funds donated goes directly to the charity of your choice.

WHO ARE THE CHARITIES THIS YEAR?

There are hundreds of charities and providing help to those in need. This year the Giving Machine is focussing on meeting the needs of Children in Need, Homelessness, Indigenous Youth, and Refugees. The charities with items in the Giving Machine are the Calgary Drop-In Centre, Inn from the Cold, Ronald McDonald House, Kidsport/Sports Bank, UNICEF Canada, CARE Canada and the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR).

WHEN and WHERE

The Giving Machines will be located at Southcentre Mall, 100 Anderson Road SE, Calgary.

They will be open from November 24th to December 31st.

Please come and make the Giving Machine a new holiday season tradition and bring your family, friends and neighbours to help make Calgary, Alberta and the World a better place.

Wow. This food drive got some reach! Way to go Calgary.

The Calgary Annual City-Wide Food Drive beat an all time record bringing in 603,262 thousand pounds of food at an estimated value of $1,568,481 ... and there's still more coming in! Up 33% from last year, we celebrate this good news with our friends up North!

Thank you for the work you do to keep your community well fed!
