Saint Gabriel Parish Chestermere

09/19/2026

On September 26th, Saint Gabriel Catholic Parish will be celebrating the Feast of Saint Gabriel with a Walk With Christ. All are welcome.

We will be leaving the rectory at 316 Windermere Dr. and processing to Saint Gabriel Catholic School at 4:30PM. Even if you are not a member of Saint Gabriels, but you want to walk with other Christians to show your faith and solidarity with Jesus Christ, you are very welcome to join us.

On that day, we are celebrating Saint Gabriel, but this short walk is so much more. Everyone on the walk will be showing the community that we don't hide our faith - that we are proud to be Christians and follow Jesus.

Jesus said, "follow me” We are all carrying out nets of shame, of sorrow, of addiction, of loneliness, of poverty. Lay down your net, and follow in solidarity with us, on our walk with Christ.

For disarmament and peace:

Let us pray that nations move toward effective disarmament, particularly nuclear disarmament, and that world leaders choose the path of dialogue and diplomacy instead of violence.
