By examining the Trinity as three in one, we can learn about how to be in relationship with others. If each of us is made in the image of God, how do we treat each other as such? GAMES NIGHT FRIDAY: May 22nd at 6:30PM
This games night will be outside (weather dependent), and it will be our first barbecue of the year! Wahoo!

There will be hamburgers, hotdog, drinks, and some desserts. If you can, we would welcome veggies and snacks to add to our dinner.

There will also be a fire and lots of ukuleles for singing. We hope to see everyone out for a good time around the fire! 🔥

God gave Joseph the gift to interpret dreams which led him into plenty of conflict - with his brothers, with his owner, his fellow servants, the pharaoh, and those he would later rule over. Through God, Joseph would do and say things that shook up how people around him viewed food and wealth in order to avoid the effects of famine. A video by Walter Brueggemann will help us explore how God calls us to use food as a material to fight against materialism.

Guess Who’s Coming for Dinner? 🍽️ Sunday, June 7th
Get ready for a fun time with food, fellowship, and surprises!

We are planning to have a “Guess Who’s Coming for Dinner?” event after church on June 7th where guests will be randomly assigned to different homes for dinner. If you are a host you will be notified 1 week ahead of time how many people are coming and if you are a guest you will be given the name and address of where to go the day of the dinner. Everything else is a surprise! We can’t wait to see who’s coming to dinner! 😄

Realization through Wrestling with God
Although Jacob is seen as one of the patriarchs of the faith, his story up until this week’s Scripture involved deceit, treachery, and betrayal. But when Jacob had an encounter with God, his life changed on an existential level. Even in our imperfections, God calls us to transcendence, and sometimes, transcendence can come through the most unlikely means - conflict.
