This month, Breslau Mennonite Church gathers with gratitude to celebrate the caring and faithful leadership of Pastor Eleanor Epp-Stobbe as her time at BMC comes to a close.

Since 2014, Eleanor has journeyed with our congregation in worship, in moments of grief and joy, and through seasons of change. She has led with compassion and courage, taught us what it means to welcome and love, and walked alongside us in prayer, service, and community.

With grateful hearts, we thank God for the many ways Eleanor has shaped our congregation and for the gifts she has shared so generously. As we release her into what comes next, we do so with blessing and deep appreciation.

May the peace of Christ be with you, Eleanor. May the love of Christ dwell deeply within you, and may the Spirit continue to light your path. Thank you for being part of our story of BMC.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Advent! 🕯️🎄

Hope, peace, joy and love are the message of the Advent Season leading up to Christmas.🌟

The theme this year is Be Amazed!

Join us for worship, including Advent pre-worship singing from 9:30-9:45am.

On December 7th - Advent 2 Be Amazed : Peace in the Valley. A farewell event for Pastor Eleanor will be held after the service.
December 14th -Advent 3 Be Amazed: Joy in the Desert with the children sharing in the Christmas story.
December 21 - Advent 4 Be Amazed: Love Comes Down
December 24 - Christmas Eve Service 7pm
December 28 - Be Amazed: God Among Us
January 4 - Epiphany - Be Amazed: Come and See.

Join us on Sunday November 23rd as we gather for Reign of Christ Sunday. 🕯️

During worship, we will hold a Memorial Service, as a time to recognize the grief carried in our community over the past year, whether through the loss of loved ones or other experiences of loss.

Together, we will remember and honour members of our congregation who have passed away, along with the families, friends, and moments of loss you wish to name.
