When Jesus died on the cross, the temple veil was torn in two (Matthew 27:50-51). That veil once separated humanity from the presence of God. But through Jesus Christ, that barrier was removed. No more distance, no more ritual requirement to approach Him.

“So let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence…” (Hebrews 4:16).

Baptism is a picture of truth, a life made new and a God who is no longer far, but near.

Go to Him with confidence.
