Silent Saturday

Today, we live in the in-between.

Silent Saturday holds the ache of unfinished stories - the place where grief lingers and hope feels out of reach.

For many around the world, this kind of waiting is not unfamiliar.

Today, we remember that God is still at work, even in the silence.
And we pray for the grace to wait, courage to lament, and faith to trust what we cannot see.

Good Friday

Today, we stand at the cross.

Good Friday is the reminder that love is costly.

Jesus took into himself the violence, injustice, grief, and sorrow of the world and answered not with retaliation, but with mercy.

As we remember his death, may we resist the temptation to look away from suffering, and instead remain present to a hurting world with compassion and courage.

May the cross shape how we see the suffering of the world and how we choose to respond.

On this Palm Sunday, pray for hearts to be attuned to the humility and faithfulness of Jesus. Ask God to prepare us for Holy Week, that we would reflect deeply on Christ’s journey to the cross. Pray that our worship would lead to renewed commitment and trust.
