This Sunday, we were blessed to welcome guest preacher Noah Stone to Coldbrook Baptist Church as he shared a message from Ezekiel 37:1–14 called “Hope for Revival.”

In the valley of dry bones, Ezekiel is shown a picture of hopelessness, dryness, and death. But by the Word of the Lord and the breath of the Spirit, what was dead was brought to life.

Noah reminded us that this is not just an old Sunday school story. It is a living word for God’s people today. When the world feels spiritually dry, when the Church feels discouraged, and when hope seems impossible, God is still able to breathe life where there was death.

We are thankful for Noah’s faithfulness, his love for God’s Word, and his willingness to share this message with us.

We invite you to watch the service and be encouraged: God is not finished. He can revive weary hearts, renew His Church, and send His people into the world with hope, boldness, and power.

“Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.”
— Ezekiel 37:13

This Sunday at Coldbrook Baptist Church, we are pleased to welcome guest preacher Noah Stone.

Noah is a member of Stoneridge Baptist Church in Sackville, a 2024 graduate of Acadia Divinity College, and he and his wife, Carys, are faithfully serving as they wait to see where God will call them into vocational ministry.

Noah will be sharing a message from Ezekiel 37:1–14 titled “Hope for Revival.”

Ezekiel’s vision of the valley of dry bones is one of the most vivid and powerful pictures in Scripture. It begins in a place that looks utterly hopeless — dry, lifeless, and beyond repair. And yet, when God speaks, bones begin to rattle. When the Spirit breathes, what was dead is brought to life.

This is a message we need to hear.

In a world that can often feel spiritually dry and discouraged, Ezekiel 37 reminds us that God is not finished. He is still able to bring life where there seems to be none. He is still able to revive His people, restore hope, and raise up an “exceedingly great army” for His purposes.

Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM as we worship together and hear this timely word from God’s Word.

Let’s come expectant, prayerful, and ready to be reminded that our hope is not in what we can do, but in what God alone can breathe to life.

🔥 Pentecost Sunday — The Fire Falls 🔥
The final message in our series: Between the Tomb and the Fire

Our Pentecost Sunday service is now available on YouTube.

This service marks the exclamation point of our series — the moment when the risen and ascended Jesus pours out the gift of the Holy Spirit, the Church is born, and everything changes.

In this week’s message, “The Fire Falls,” we look at Acts 2:1–13 and reflect on what it means that the Spirit comes not only to comfort the Church, but to fill, empower, and send the Church into the world as witnesses of Jesus.

The Spirit comes.
The Church is born.
Everything changes.

We pray this service encourages you to come expectant, to open your heart to the work of the Holy Spirit, and to live as a witness of the risen Christ wherever God has placed you.

🔥 Pentecost Sunday — The Fire Has Come🔥
The final message in our series: Between the Tomb and the Fire

This Sunday, we come to the exclamation point of the whole series.

We’ve walked from the empty tomb…
to the garden…
to the locked room…
to the shoreline with Peter…
to the waiting room of prayer…

And now, the fire falls.

On Pentecost Sunday, we remember the gift of the Holy Spirit — the moment when the risen and ascended Jesus poured out His Spirit upon His people, and the Church was born.

The Spirit comes.
The Church is born.
Everything changes.

This week’s message is called “The Fire Has Come”, based on Acts 2:1–13.

We’ll gather with joy, expectation, and openness to what God wants to do in us and through us. Come ready to worship. Come ready to hear the Word. Come ready to be reminded that the good news of Jesus was never meant to stay locked in one room — it was meant to be carried into the world.

Tonight we wrapped up our final Alpha night at Coldbrook Baptist Church, and my heart is full.

As Pastor, I am deeply moved and encouraged by what the Holy Spirit has done among us through this Alpha series. Week by week, God has been at work — around tables, through honest questions, in shared meals, in laughter, in tears, and in prayer.

Tonight, we ate like kings and queens. We learned and talked about what it means to be the Church. We shared with one another, cried with one another, certainly laughed with one another, and above all, we prayed with each other.

My cup is full.

I am so grateful for everyone who helped make Alpha happen — those who cooked, cleaned, prayed, welcomed, served, shared, listened, encouraged, and simply showed up. You helped create a space where people could come as they are and encounter the love and grace of God.

Above all, I thank God for being exactly who He is — faithful, gracious, patient, and present. And I thank Him for His calling upon my life.

Alpha may have come to an end for this season, but the journey of faith is only just beginning.

Thanks be to God. ❤️

Tonight is our final night of Alpha.

Over these past weeks, we’ve gathered around tables, shared meals, listened to one another, and explored some of life’s biggest questions together:

Who is Jesus?
Why did He die?
How can I have faith?
Why and how do I pray?
How does God guide us?
What about evil?
Does God heal today?

And tonight, we end with one final question:

“What about the Church?”

Alpha has never been about having all the answers neatly tied up. It has been about making space — space for questions, doubts, stories, laughter, honesty, friendship, and maybe even a few surprising moments of faith along the way.

For many of us, this journey has meant more than simply watching a video or discussing a topic. It has been a chance to come as we are, to listen deeply, to be welcomed warmly, and to discover that faith is not meant to be explored alone.

So tonight, we gather one more time for Alpha — not just to finish a course, but to celebrate how far we’ve come together.

Join us at 6:00 PM at Coldbrook Baptist Church for a free hot meal, our final Alpha video, and relaxed small-group conversation.

Whether you’ve been part of the whole journey or you’re simply curious about what Alpha has been, you are welcome.

Come as you are. There’s still a seat at the table.

Our Sunday service is now available to watch online.

This week, we continued our series Between the Tomb and the Fire with Week 5: “Mary: Trusting in the Waiting.”

In Acts 1:12–14, we find Mary, the mother of Jesus, gathered with the disciples in the upper room — waiting, praying, and trusting in the promise of God.

Mary’s story reminds us that the space between what God has done and what God is about to do is not empty. It is holy ground.

It is where faith is formed.
Where trust is tested.
Where God prepares His people for what comes next.

If you are carrying sorrow, waiting for answers, longing for hope, or learning to trust God in a quiet season, we pray this service encourages you deeply.

This Sunday at 10:30am, we continue our series Between the Tomb and the Fire with a deeply moving message:
“Mary: Trusting in the Waiting”

In the quiet days between the resurrection and Pentecost, we find Mary—the mother of Jesus—waiting, praying, remembering, and trusting.

She had once heard the words:
“The Holy Spirit will come upon you…”
And now, years later, she waits again… for God to move once more.

This message will take us through promise, sorrow, silence, and hope as we reflect on what it means to trust God in the spaces between what He has done and what He is about to do.

If you’re carrying grief… waiting for direction… longing for peace… or simply needing hope, this Sunday’s service is for you.

Join us this Sunday at 10:30am at Coldbrook Baptist Church.

You are always welcome here. ❤️

ALPHA IS THIS TONIGHT!!! 🍽️✨

Join us this week for Episode 14 of Alpha:
“Does God Heal Today?”

It’s a question many of us have asked quietly in moments of pain, uncertainty, disappointment, or hope. Does God still heal? If He does, what does that look like? And what happens when healing doesn’t come the way we expect?

At Alpha, there’s no pressure and no expectation to have everything figured out. Just come as you are.

We’ll begin with a free hot meal together at 6:00 PM, followed by a short video and relaxed small-group conversation where everyone is welcome to share—or simply listen.
