Sometimes the narratives in the Bible are embarrassing, nasty, or shocking. God tells it as it really is in this world. People are sinners and can do things that are desperately wicked and depraved.

The marvel of the Bible is that God continues to work with and through even fallen, sinful people. And in the end God accomplishes his purpose - in spite of all the problems we caused.

Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your power! ~ Psalm 110:3

Blessed be HaShem the God of praise! He has chosen people from old to the present to be His peculiar portion.

When the day of His power comes and His grace is displayed its omnipotence to all nations, we praise Him, we laud Him! What a wondrous power it is, which never violates the will, and yet rules it!

“Of Benjamin he said, “May the beloved of the LORD dwell in safety by Him; He shields and covers him all the day long, And he dwells between His shoulders.” ~ Deuteronomy 33:12

There is no safety other than which comes of dwelling in the hands of God. We cannot find no surer or safer place to be. Let our daily prayer be “Lord, let me always abide in your shadow, nearer and nearer I come to thee, my Saviour and my Lord, I would abide in You forever!”

What a covering the Lord provides for all His people! He covers us with His wings. Nothing can come at us when we are covered by His wings. He covers us all day long, however the “day” is going. May we be consciously be in the canopy of God’s love!

Yeshua is our support and strength!
