Operation Christmas Child Canada Through Operation Christmas Child, Canadians have the privilege of filling empty shoeboxes with school supplies, toys, hygiene items, and a personal note.

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes and the message of God’s unconditional love. When culturally appropriate, an illustrated Bible storybook is offered to children in their local language (children do not have to accept the book in order to receive a shoebox gift). When possible, children can further explore the love of Jesus Christ through a voluntary Bible study program called "The Greatest Journey." Since 1993, more than 188 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love. The forgotten. The overlooked. The hardest to reach.

Shoebox gifts carry the love of Jesus to children in places many will never go. Because no child is beyond His reach, and no place is too far for the hope of the Gospel. ❤️‍🔥

This is our calling. To go to the ends of the earth and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

A handwritten letter can turn a shoebox gift into something deeply personal. 💌 It reminds a child that someone, somewhere, took the time to think of them.

Every detail matters when packing a shoebox, because every gift is an opportunity to show a child the love of Jesus. 💛

Although Adryana faces ongoing health challenges, her passion for God and the Great Commission burns brighter and fiercer. ❤️‍🔥

Through shoebox gifts, God has given her a larger mission field than she ever imagined. She is witnessing to her local community, sharing with them the eternal hope she has found over and over again in Jesus Christ. And she is igniting Christians to participate in spreading the Gospel around the world, one shoebox at a time. ✨
