Highwood Lutheran Church Bring the 19th century to the 21st century every Sunday at 10:30. Come worship with us online or in person! Please call or email. We have two buildings.

At Highwood, we strive to be a classical church for various reasons, including our Lutheran heritage and religious and spiritual beliefs, and sense of community. Additionally, many people may find the architecture, history, and music of classical to be personally meaningful or inspiring. Highwood Lutheran Church has been serving Calgary's northwest communities since 1956. Our larger church structu

re dates from 1968, the home of Opus 81, our historic pipe organ. The smaller building to the north was the first worship home of the congregation and now houses our offices and a small chapel. Highwood Lutheran Church is a member of the Synod of Alberta and the Territories of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. We are a vital, active, and friendly community of Christian people dedicated to our Lord, with the proclamation of the Gospel and Christian service in the communities of northwest Calgary. If you do not yet have a church home in Calgary and want to experience God, we invite you to visit and worship with us. If you have any questions about our church or the Christian faith, our pastor would be pleased to see you and talk to you.
