Dedication Service

On Sunday evening at 2630 Langdon Street in Abbotsford, the people of Redeemer Bible Church came together to celebrate the blessing of a new campus and commit ourselves to the work ahead in the heart of the city.

With building updates nearly completed we paused to recognize what God has done for us with thanksgiving and praise. Harry Walls preached an unforgettable message for us from 2 Chronicles 16:9. The sermon and dedicatory prayer are available now on our website and YouTube channel.

Along with Harry our pastors, elders, and deacons stood before the church to dedicate themselves to Christ’s purposes, and ask that the Lord would cause us to be faithful to the work of ministry.

Only a short while remains until the new facility is move-in ready. Until that time we will seek the Lord and ask that He equip us for the work before us and grant that many would be saved and sanctified at our new location, and through us that the Gospel would go forth to the ends of the earth.

For the next few weeks we will continue to meet at our original location (1929 Interprovincial Way), and soon we will worship together at the Langdon location.

We praise God for each of the four who were baptized at the lake on this beautiful summer day.

From their teens to their nineties, these individuals, one by one, gave testimony to the work of the Lord Jesus Christ in their lives.

Thank you, Adele, Simon, Benjamin, Ellie, and Kyrie for your witness to the power of the Gospel.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16).
