Reflection; the examination of one’s own conscious thoughts and feelings. An observation of one's mental, spiritual, and emotional state. ⁠

When you look at yourself, and reflect on who you are, what do you see? An inflated view, or a self-deprecating one are both sides of an unhealthy pendulum. To think too much of ourselves, or too little negates the reality of how our Heavenly Father views us. ⁠
⁠
An article in Compelling Truth describes this concept by saying, "rather than seeing our sinfulness, God sees the righteousness of His Son. He does not hold our sins against us, but, having justified us, He invites us into active relationship with Him. He sees us as people who have been redeemed, and also as so much more".⁠

The good news is, that God sees us through the lens of our righteousness through faith in Christ. Created in His image, Jesus has bridged the gap. ⁠

As Romans 5:1 says, "we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ". ⁠
⁠
How incredible is that? What a loving God we serve who sees us not for our sin, but as His children; fully redeemed and forgiven! ⁠

Because of what Jesus has done for you, when God looks at you He is pleased with you. Because of grace, you are righteous in His sight.⁠

In Christ, healing leads to freedom, and His love restores what the world never could. Trust the process, lean into His mercy, and walk in the freedom He offers.

In Him, there is grace upon grace.

Teens today are more connected than ever, yet many feel incredibly isolated.

Excessive screen time can impact their self-esteem, sleep, and mental health. Endless scrolling can fuel comparison, anxiety, and loneliness.

As caregivers of teens, let's encourage meaningful connections beyond the screen and remind them that real life isn't measured in likes/follows. Let's strive to help our kids unplug, find hobbies/activities outside of their phones, and protect their mental health!

When life's storms rage, and you feel overwhelmed, remember His promise; you're never alone.⁠

The road may be long, and the journey to healing hard to comprehend, but He walks beside you. Take comfort, my friend, in His unwavering grace; it's in His presence that you will find peace.

I don’t know who needs to hear this today…but just because the pain, the memories, or the difficult emotions are still present, doesn't mean healing hasn't taken place in your life.⁠
⁠
True and lasting healing is a process, a continuum, a 'two steps forward, one step back' kind of journey. ⁠
⁠
You may even feel worse before you feel better. ⁠
⁠
And true healing for your weary soul won't be fixed overnight. ⁠
⁠
HOWEVER, you've come so far to give up now. Healing is happening, and the Lord will never tire from your daily pursuit of freedom found in Him. ⁠
⁠
Keep going, because every moment you chose to surrender to the process, you are stepping forward into the story of redemption God has called you too. ⁠
⁠
His mercies are new every morning, and you've been given a fresh start today!
