Day 9 😢
For our final day in Thailand we went to Bangkok to explore the city! We saw some cultural monuments, did a river tour and then ended at the largest mall I have ever seen! The team had a fun day, even though we are sad to be going home, we will all remember this experience and focusing of where God is leading all of us next!!!!

Day 7
Today we we drove out to Pattaya, one of the s*x tourism capitals of the world. We heard from Tamar ministries of how the they are working to reach out for Christ. We prayed that God would continue working in this city and that his Sprit would flood this area.interesting fact, the song “God of this City” was written by a group visiting Pattaya and made famous by Chris Tomlin as an anthem proclaiming Gods work in this city and other cities of darkness.
This is a great reminder that even in dark places, the words of John 1:5 are true. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.“ Even when it feels like darkness is surrounding us. The light of Christ shines forth.
We also went to the beach both to swim and sing, basking in Gods glory and majesty. And of course it’s not a youth trip with some fun along the way :)

Day 7
This morning our team went to 3 different churches and experienced how different Thai churches worship. We then were able to meet together to pray over the kids at the orphanage before having a massive Bbq with the whole team!
So cool seeing how God is working in the Thai people. Sad that we are getting to the end of this life changing trip!

Day 6
Today was both our rest day and Janessa’s Birthday so we celebrated in style. We spent the morning at the zoo where many of our team rode elephants, saw lions and amazing other animals.
We then got massages to help relax those muscles we have been using all week. Then we went to the beach in the rain and it was absolutely wonderful and warm.
We ended the day with kareoke! Today was a fun day after a week of serving hard!

Day 5!

Today we served at a Buddhist school teaching Sunday school lessons! We also heard from pastor Fone and her story serving at the local monkey mountain! There we prayed for the local village and over the surrounding area. We then heard from Karen and Ricky as they shared their stories of faith and how God called them to open the orphanage here in Thailand. Amazing to hear stories of Gods faithfulness and how He is working in the lives of so many people here in Thailand!
As we do each day, we ended our day at the local market!

Day 4

Nice change of pace for day 4. We served with the.landing.th helping them prepare their church for a big event tomorrow night. Amazing to hear how this church is reaching the university students in the area. Part of the team also built a new chicken coop for ALH
Ended the day playing with the kids at ALH and ate at another new night market!

Day 3 in Thailand

We started the day worshipping alongside the staff at Abundant Life Home, singing together, sharing testimonies, and encouraging one another in Christ.

After lunch on the beach, we headed to a local Christian school where we taught English through our Sunday school lessons and had the opportunity to connect with so many wonderful students.

That evening, we hosted VBS for the ALH kids. Even a downpour of rain couldn’t stop the fun—our team kept playing, laughing, and making memories together!

We wrapped up an incredible day by exploring the local night market and enjoying some delicious food.

We’re so thankful for the opportunities God continues to give us to serve, build relationships, and share His love. Please continue to pray for our team and for everyone we’re meeting throughout this trip!

Great day 2 in Thailand!

Today, we had the chance to teach at both a school for children with special needs and a Buddhist school. We also explored the fish market on the wharf, served alongside alhthailand, and wrapped up the day enjoying delicious food at the night market.

It has been amazing to witness how God is moving in the lives of the Thai people, and we’re grateful to be a small part of what He’s doing here. We can’t wait to see what He has in store for us tomorrow!
