🏕️ What a Night! 🎲❤️

Last Friday night, we were thrilled to have 56 wonderful people from our church community come together for a fantastic night of games, laughter, yummy food and plenty of fun — capping off our fundraising efforts throughout the year to make kids and youth camp more affordable for our families! 🏕️🙌

A massive thank you to everyone who made the night possible:

❤️ To our incredible volunteers who gave their time, energy and talents to make the evening happen.

❤️ To everyone from our church and wider community who came along, joined in the fun and supported our kids and youth.

❤️ To Warrnambool East Primary School for their generous financial contribution towards helping our campers.

❤️ To The Flying Horse Warrnambool for generously donating two delicious sticky date puddings 🤤 for our live auction.

❤️ And to Ocean View Photography for generously donating a photo session for our live auction. 📸

And now for the exciting part…

Because of the incredible generosity of our church and wider community, we are now able to take 5 leaders and 24 kids and young people to camp! 🎉🏕️

That means 29 people will be heading to camp this year to build friendships, have fun, grow in faith and make memories together. ❤️

What an incredible way to cap off a year of fundraising, generosity and community!

As we gather today to consider the Ways of Jesus, we will be challenged to lean into the Holy Spirit.

Today, as the women from the churches of Warrnambool gathered together, the Spirit of God moved amongst us.
Our time of worship was powerful as we sought the challenge to walk on water, to go deeper with God, to trust Him beyond the boundaries and the wherever He chooses to lead us.
And that was just the beginning.
Following a beautiful afternoon tea, we postured ourselves to hear our guest Debra Stevens speak on Knowing God in the midst of grief in its multiple forms.
Each time choosing to be vulnerable before God and see Him at work in the miracles and the pain.
Our take home challenge was to Stand Firm in God and to see Him at work on our behalf.
