Sanctuary Baptist Feeding the hungry through story and silence, soup and song: Sanctuary is for those who have left the church but are trying to find a way back home.

You are welcome, no matter your age, faith, personal history, or sexual or gender identity. Sanctuary is growing out of a loose network of people who describe themselves as hungry: hungry for the Scriptures, for teaching, for prayer, for singing, for silence, and for soup! They are hungry for a gathering which cherishes its children, both as they are now and for the people they will become, and wh

ich will disciple its young in the ways of faith. They are hungry to engage and honour their whole selves - bodies, minds, hearts and guts - in their worship, work and play. They are hungry for a safe place to ask big questions that have no answers, and to wonder and wrestle with their faith. They are hungry for a place to share life's joys and sorrows, hopes and fears, and to let these experiences be shaped by the Christian narrative. Therefore, Sanctuary seeks to be a safe place where God's people will be fed.
