This Friday we’re looking at Philippians 4:10-23 and thinking about contentment and generosity in Christ. We’ll see that true contentment is not found in having more, but in knowing Jesus and trusting him in every circumstance.

This Friday night we have .wy, which is the combined Christian youth groups of Warrnambool.
This term’s event is a Sports Fest at Lake Pertobe from 6:30-8:30pm. The night will begin with a BBQ dinner, fellowship and fun and include a range of casual sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball and cricket. The sports will be social and relaxed, with youth able to choose what they want to play and also move between activities.
Victor Claye, a Christian rapper from South Australia, will also be performing live. He’ll share some of his original music as well as a short message and some of his story.

📍 Location: Lake Pertobe – Pertobe Rd, near Mini Golf
⏰ Time: 6:30-8:30pm
🚗 Drop off and pick up youth at Lake Pertobe (near the mini golf area)
🌭 Dinner: Light BBQ included
💰 Cost: Free event (but bring $$$ to buy ice cream)

This event is free entry and is designed as an evangelistic night, so it would be great for youth to invite friends along. It’s primarily aimed at high school-aged youth, but because it’s a free public event in a public location, families and younger siblings are welcome to attend if they wish.

Our YouthinC leaders will be there during the night, keeping an eye out for our own youth and making sure everyone is included and enjoying the event.

If you have any questions, please reach out! 😃

This Friday night is a regular youth night! Join us from 6-8:30pm at the WPC church hall. We’ll enjoy dinner and dessert together (please bring $4/youth for dinner), play some fun games, and spend time in God’s Word.

This week we’re looking at Philippians 3:17-4:9 and thinking about what it means to live a life shaped by heavenly citizenship. If we belong to Christ, Paul reminds us that “our citizenship is in heaven.” It's not just a future hope; it reshapes how we live now. If we belong to Christ, then our values, ambitions, anxieties, habits, and relationships are meant to be shaped by where we truly belong.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

YouthinC this Friday
Regular youth group night! Join us from 6-8:30pm at the WPC church hall. We’ll enjoy dinner and dessert together, play some fun games, and spend time in God’s Word.

This week we’re diving into Philippians 3:1–16 and asking a big question:
What is truly worth living for?
Paul reminds us that knowing Jesus outweighs everything else.
Living for Christ means valuing Christ above all.

Dinner, Bible, Games. Community.
See you Friday night! 🥳✝

This Friday night is a regular youth night! Join us from 6-8:30pm at the WPC church hall. We’ll enjoy dinner and dessert together (please bring $4/youth for dinner), play some fun games, and continue our series in Philippians: Living for Christ, Together.

This week in our bible studies we’re looking at Philippians 2:1-11. Paul calls us to unity, humility, and putting others before ourselves. We’ll see that Living for Christ means having the same mindset as Christ, a life shaped by humility, sacrificial love, and joyful obedience.

You are invited to join us for a Passover Meal on Thursday 2 April. It is part of the Easter Arts Festival and is being promoted across Warrnambool churches, so tickets are expected to sell quickly. If you would like to attend, please purchase tickets using the QR code on the flyer.
On the night, Corey Bolton from Celebrate Messiah will guide us through the traditional Jewish Passover meal, explaining its elements and showing how they point to the promised Messiah. It will be a rich and meaningful way to begin reflecting on Easter.

Youth group has finished for the year. But this Friday night, many of us will be going to the Carols on the Green from 7pm onwards at the Warrnambool Civic Green. It will be a wonderful night of carols, food and great company.
Make sure you come along and please invite your family and friends, as it is a great way to share the real reason for the season with those who don't yet know Jesus.

It would be great to see you and your family down at the Warrnambool Civic Green this Friday from 7pm.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. 🎄🌟

This Friday is our last youth group night for 2026!!

We hope youll join us for the End of Year celebration.
Same time as always, 6:00-8:30pm at the WPC church hall. Same dinner, dessert and good conversation as normal.
We’ll be playing a full in-person, live-action version of 'Among Us' across the church property. Hiding tasks, secret roles, emergency meetings, the whole deal. It’ll be a huge amount of fun and a great way to finish the year together.

Over the past term we’ve walked through Mark’s Gospel and watched Jesus with fresh eyes: His authority, His compassion, His power, and ultimately His death and resurrection. Mark’s aim is to show us that Jesus is not merely a teacher, or a miracle-worker, but truly the Son of God!

As we finish the year, it’s worth asking the same question Mark presses on his readers:
If Jesus really is God, what does that mean for my life?

Jesus calls us to trust Him, follow Him, and build our whole life on Him. That's a fitting reflection to end the year. This Christmas, we hope you'll consider Jesus and what he means for your life.

We’ll share dinner and dessert together ($4), dig into the last part of Mark’s Gospel, and finish with games. This week we’re looking at Mark 15:40-16:8, where we see the reality of Jesus' death and burial and witness the astounding news of His resurrection.
