SGY aims to unite young people in community, help them to deepen in their faith through prayer and equip them to share that faith with the world!

Established in 2014, Saint Greg's Youth, more commonly known as SGY is the main youth ministry initiative within the Parish of Saint Gregory's in Queanbeyan, NSW. The program is made up of many different aspects, the two major aspects being the Youth/Family Mass and the weekly discipleship gatherings held on Sunday evening, every week of the NSW school term. SGY also hold regular large scale youth events that bring together a huge community of young people from across the Archdiocese to experience an event with high energy, great music and inspirational talks/sharings. These events are a new and vibrant way to encounter Christ and His love through the Church community. SGY are always keen to meet and get to know new people, so if that's you, come along to mass this weekend and say hi!

Join us for our first Youth Meeting this week after the 10:00 AM Mass, at around 11:15 AM in the Parish Room, next to morning tea.
Whether you’re interested in getting more involved in our church or simply learning more about your faith alongside other young people your age, everyone is welcome!

Yesterday, Eddies staff came together for our annual 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 - a special opportunity to reflect, connect, serve, and celebrate as a community.

The day began with 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘢, a Catholic meditation, providing a moment of stillness and reflection before gathering for our annual Double Denim photo.

From there, staff travelled across Canberra to take part in a range of service activities, followed by lunch and time together. We then returned to the College for Mass in our Chapel, before finishing the day with some fun and friendly activities.

Days like these remind us how fortunate we are to be part of the Eddies community - united by faith, service, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

INSTAGRACE is a three-day Catholic residential program organised by Jesus Youth Canberra for teenagers aged
13 to 17. Running successfully for nearly a decade, it helps young people grow in self-understanding and
develop a personal relationship with Jesus through talks, music, and life testimonies.

Something for our youth to look forward to. 🙏

Addressing thousands at the conclusion of the ACYF25 commissioning Mass in Melbourne, Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP announced that the next Australian Catholic Youth Festival (ACYF) will be held in Sydney in 2028.

It will form a crucial strand of the International Eucharistic Congress in 2028 (Eucharist28), and the archbishop extended an invitation to all pilgrims present with a challenge to invite their closest 100 friends.

Christmas Day—8am and 10am at St. Raphael’s
After Christmas weekend Mass times will change
permanently to the following:
Saturday Morning—9.30am St. Gregory's ONLY
once a month on the second Saturday of the month.

Saturday Vigil Mass—5.30pm at St. Raphael's

Sundays—St. Raphael's 8am and 10am ( NO 5pm
Mass)
There will be a further announcement soon about
planned changes to weekday masses.
