Join us for a special healing service at St Charbel Maronite Church. Miracle Prayers Chaplain, Fr Doug Harris will be giving a talk on “Sanctifying Grace”. Don’t miss this opportunity to receive prayers for healing and other intentions. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will also be available.

Message on Behalf of Father Tony Moussa:

Dear Parishioners and Friends,

Please join us this weekend as we celebrate the Feast of the Assumption.

Beginning tonight at 6.30pm for Rosary prayers, followed by a parish quiz night at the parish hall.

The quiz night will be themed with questions about the Virgin Mary. There will be prizes for winners along with food for participants. Whilst there is no cost to enter, a kind donation of $5 towards the event would be greatly appreciated.

There will be no mass Saturday in preparation for the feast day on Sunday. Sunday mass will be at 11am, with lunch, including the traditional Hrisseh, to follow at the parish hall.

*IMPORTANT CENSUS ANNOUNCEMENT*

Australia’s national Census will take place on Tuesday, 11 August 2026.

When completing the Religion question, please do not simply tick the “Catholic” box. Instead, go down the list to *“Other (specify)”* and write: *MARONITE CATHOLIC*.

This ensures that Maronite Catholics are accurately represented in the Census while remaining part of the overall Catholic population.

Accurate Census data helps the Maronite Church better understand the size and needs of our community and assists with future pastoral planning.

Please also assist family members who may need help completing their Census.

Message on behalf of Fr Tony Moussa who is currently in Sydney and will be returning early next week.

Dear Parishioners and Friends, there will be no mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 6.30pm.

Sunday mass will be offered for the repose of the soul of Hanna Mansour Rizk (Abu George) at 7pm. Mass will be presided by Father Elias from Our Lady of Annunciation Melkite Church.

You are also welcome to join us on Wednesday, August 12 at 7:30 pm at 67 Howe Street, Osborne Park.

On Friday, we’ll also begin our celebration of the feast of the assumption with rosary prayers at 6:30 pm followed by a parish quiz night
