Samskruthi proudly conducting karkidaka Vavu bali, Shradham/ pitru Paksha on 20/07/2020(Monday)at Sri mahaganapathi bhajan mandal ( 102 mallardway ( shed no 6) Cannington, Perth WA, morning 9 am to 11 am.
The ceremony for our dead grand parents, parents, Siblings,Children and relatives, are performed on karutha Vavu ( no moon day) The Bali rite for the dead ancestors is observed on the Nakshthra or star the person dead. The person performing the Bali ritual also observed a fast on this day and is allowed to only one meal comprising of rice ( the day before the Bali), non vegetarian food is strictly prohibited (both days) July 19&20.
It is believed that by sincerely observing the 'Bali Tharpanam ' will give them prosperity and good fortune

The pandemic situation is not over yet and we, team Samskruthi is still on the run to help our community.
Senator Matt O’Sullivan visited our team to appreciate our efforts. Samskruthi and Sree Maha Ganapathi Bhajan Mandal representatives were present in the meeting. Senator Mr.O'Sullivan praised Samskruthi for our acts and promised all support as he can in the future.
He admired our Samskruthi team, for going beyond our abilities to support others who were unable to meet both ends. Mr.O’Sullivan added that our team is the best example as people were very busy supporting themselves while we were out in the community.
Mr.O’Sullivan spent more than an hour with us discussing about our way of doing things and offered every support in the future.
