Korah's Sin of Rebellion.

There is a spirit in the church many believers have encountered but almost nobody calls out. Scripture shows its pattern through Korah in Numbers 16.

Who was Korah? Korah was a Levite and first cousin to Moses and Aaron who led a major rebellion against their leadership in the wilderness. Driven by jealousy of Aaron’s priesthood, he rallied 250 leaders to challenge Moses' authority.

God judged his rebellion by causing the earth to swallow Korah, his followers, and their households.
Korah's attitude appears innocent at first. It does not appear evil. It appears concerned. It pretends to be godly. But it eventually shows up clearly.

Korah did not leave God’s people. He stayed inside the camp. He served, worshipped, and spoke spiritual language, but he rejected the authority God established. He gathered people without delegation of authority and said to his followers, “You take too much upon yourselves… all the congregation is holy” (Numbers 16:3). It sounded humble. But it was rebellion dressed as righteousness thinking.

He did not attack publicly first. He influenced privately. He turned hearts away from godly authority before Moses' leadership was confronted. That is why the damage spread so fast.

This spirit still operates the same way. Quiet conversations. Subtle agreement. “I’m not against leadership BUT…” Concern that sounds caring but produces division. The Bible says rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23) because it resists what God established while still claiming to honor Him.

Correction gets called control. Accountability gets called manipulation. Honor gets called bo***ge.

Hebrews 13:17 says to respect spiritual oversight because leaders carry responsibility before God. But this spirit rejects responsibility while seeking influence. It wants a voice without weight and authority without sacrifice.

Korah’s sin was not asking questions. It was refusing the place God gave him while demanding the place God gave another. God judged it severely because the issue was never personality. It was resisting His order.

Discern carefully. Not every bold voice is sent. Some are gathering people God never assigned them to lead.🔥

Be blessed

A pure heart in the ministry is not proven by how much you receive, but by how faithful you remain when there is nothing to gain.

The moment money becomes the motive, the anointing becomes merchandise.

God never called us to use Him to build a platform,
to use people to fund a vision, or to use the gospel for personal comfort.

Ministry flows from love, not profit.
From obedience, not opportunity.
From calling, not convenience.

Jesus did not die to create entrepreneurs of the pulpit, but servants of the altar.

“Freely you have received; freely give.” (Matthew 10:8)
“You cannot serve both God and money.” (Matthew 6:24)

God is not impressed by how much money passes through your hands— He is searching for clean hands and a pure heart.

Let the fire of God burn every hidden agenda.
Let Him cleanse our motives.
Let the altar be holy again.

Because when the heart is pure,
God Himself becomes the reward!

Good morning everyone.

Welcome to the new month of 'tarrying' before the Lord in prayer and fasting.

Hope and praying you are all well in body, soul and spirit.

Acts 1:4 says;

"And being assembled together with them, He (Christ) commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait (TARRY) for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me;"

What tarrying (waiting) does:

1. Humbles us.
2. Re-aligns us.
3. Rebuilds our tri-part being of spirit, soul and body.
4. Refines us.
5. Sharpens our focus for the our mission or assignment.
6. Helps us regain spiritual strength.

Isaiah 40:31 declares;

"But those who WAIT ON THE LORD Shall RENEW their STRENGTH; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint."

ENCOURAGEMENT:

Ministry is never ministry until we learn to WAIT. We are not involved in a secular activity. We need spiritual strength and focus to achieve great things with the Holy Spirit.

So we wait in PRAYER, we mount up as an eagle to FOCUS with clarity; and we gain strength to run and walk in MINISTRY.

In Acts 1 and 2, the command to tarry in Jerusalem was to put the disciples in the Furnace of Prayer to refine, rebuild trust, re-align, and re-focus on the mission ahead.

Several things were activated which enabled the Holy Spirit to fall on them.

1. They were in ONE ACCORD (UNITED in body, soul and spirit)
2. In ONE PLACE of prayer. (Spirittual positioning)
3. They were SIMPLE or HUMBLE.

The Holy Spirit and Power wouldn't have come if they were proud, divided, and not willing to go and WAIT/TARRY in Jerusalem.

It takes Humility and a Right Heart Attitude towards prayer before we engage in Ministry. Pride leads to destruction (Proverbs 16:18)

May we continue fervently in prayer as we WAIT on God. God sees the genuineness of our hearts.

I wouldn't wanna do ministry if my prayer life is weak. The default for a weak prayer life is religious activity.

Let's arise together in ONE ACCORD until something breaks out, and we will see God do exploits through us!

If you are serious with God in your Prayer and Fasting, God will be serious with using you.

Pray Until Something Happens! (P.U.S.H)

- Luke 22:44 (Agonizing Prayer): "And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground".

- Luke 18:1 (Persistent Prayer): "Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart".

- Romans 12:12 (Faithful Prayer): "Rejoice in hope, be patient in affliction, be faithful in prayer".

Love & Blessings in Christ.

Ps. Andrew

If the altar of your heart is pure, the fire will be holy.
If the altar is compromised, the fire will be strange.
