Welcome to June! As we start our first month of winter we're going to snuggle down and keep each other warm with our theme this month of Family and Relationships. Whether your family looks traditional, blended, single-parent, or something beautifully unique, one truth remains: connection is everything ❤

Reconciliation calls for more than good intentions, it calls for wholehearted commitment. Being “All In” means showing up, listening, learning, and taking action in our everyday lives.

So what does that look like in practice?

• Listen and learn: Take time to understand Australia’s true history, the impact of past policies, and the ongoing experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Read, watch, and engage with resources created by Indigenous voices.

• Acknowledge and honour: Participate meaningfully in Acknowledgement of Country, learn whose land you’re on, and respect the cultural significance of place and community.

• Support Indigenous-led initiatives: Buy from Indigenous businesses, support organisations doing grassroots work, and share their stories so others can learn too.

• Build real relationships: Reconciliation grows through connection. Be open, respectful, and willing to learn from Indigenous perspectives without defensiveness.

• Speak up for justice: Challenge stereotypes, call out racism when you see it, and advocate for fairness in your workplace, church, and community.

• Commit for the long term: Reconciliation isn’t just for a week, it’s a lifelong posture of humility, learning, and action.

Whatever we do, let’s do it with intention, humility, and love because real change happens when we are truly all in.

“All In” is this year’s National Reconciliation Week theme. This theme really resonates with Christians as this is what the Bible tells us to do, to be wholeheartedly committed, to share responsibility and to show active love. Galatians 6:2 tells us to “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

So this week, as we take some time to look at how we can achieve reconciliation in this Country, we ask that you join us because reconciliation isn’t just a concept, it’s a calling that requires all of us, fully engaged, reflecting God’s heart for unity, justice, and love.
