The Lord is not safe.

The axe of judgment is real—ready to cut it down at the root. Yet, He is good.

The only reason we are still standing, enjoying the good things in life, is because He has been good to us, at His own expense.

His patience is mercy. His goodness is grace. And His grace calls us to repentance.

Habakkuk didn’t know about Jesus, yet he chose to trust God—that is faith.
Today, we know far more than he did. And still, we ask: Can God really be trusted, even when we don’t understand His ways?
The Cross is our ultimate answer.
How can we not trust Him after all He has done for us there?

If you’ve suffered so deeply that you begin to question your worth…

Hear this:
God says, “You are worth the death of My own Son.”

Your value is no longer defined by what was done to you,
but by what Christ has done for you.

To the extent that you believe God’s wrath has been satisfied,
to that extent you will know your worth has been fully secured in Jesus.

And there—
you’ll begin to find comfort in God’s justice,
and freedom from the need to avenge yourself.

God spared Abraham’s son.
But He did not spare His own.

Why?
Because sin has a cost.
A debt that must be paid.

The question isn’t, “Is a firstborn enough?”
It’s “Whose firstborn?”

And God answered:
“My own.”

That’s how much He loves us. 🤍

Jesus is the greater Jonah.

Jonah ran from God’s will.
Jesus prayed, “Not my will, but Yours be done.”

Jonah preached five words to outsiders.
Jesus opened His arms and gave the Sermon on the Mount.

Jonah sat outside Nineveh hoping it would be destroyed.
Jesus was lifted up outside Jerusalem so it could be saved.

Jonah wanted to die because his enemies were spared.
Jesus did die so His enemies could be saved.

Three days in the depths…
but He rose again.
