We might not be great at keeping our socials fresh… but we are serious about the mission. So here’s a quick snapshot from this week at Hills Church.

On Sunday morning, we had Steve Swenson from Open Doors come and share about the persecuted church. As a community, we responded in a really meaningful way… continuing to stand with our brothers and sisters through prayer and financial support.

Sunday night was a great time of prayer and worship together.

During the week, life has been full: Playgroup and Young Adults on Tuesday, English Classes on Wednesday, Seniors gathering on Thursday, Youth tonight, and the Op Shop continuing to serve our community. And in the midst of it all, many of our people are serving God in hospitals, schools, workplaces, and across the Hills district.

Nothing flashy… just great people gathering, serving, constantly praying, and getting on with the mission God has given us.

Let’s do it all again next week… ’til then, see you on Sunday.
