As our time here in Budapest comes to a close, we want to keep being intentional in prayer over this city, the country or Hungary, each person we have met, and each ministry we’ve been able to partner with.
Thank you for your faithful prayers over our time here, we are so thankful for each of you who have joined us on this journey!

Rosie is the leader of Sandwich Run, the ministry we did each Tuesday evening. Passing out sandwiches to those experiencing homelessness in Budapest and offering prayer and a listening ear are the foundation of this time. We absolutely loved joining this ministry and are so thankful for Rosie and her faithfulness to carry out this ministry and do as God leads her. There are many local Hungarians who come along faithfully as well to interpret, so even if you aren’t Hungarian you get to have beautiful conversations with the friends you make during this time. We made so many connections with the People of Budapest through this that we will never forget.💛

Please keep praying for Budapest, for Ukraine. Many of our Ukrainian friends here have said their biggest prayer requests are for peace, for safety and people to stop dying, and for the war to stop. Thank you for joining us in the powerful ministry of prayer.

We have an amazing opportunity to do evangelism and worship every Monday and Friday afternoon. We get to work with a team from .budapest church. A lot of our testimonies and stories come from days like this because God fulfills His divine appointments. Our mission for these days is to connect and create friendships with the people living here in Budapest and share Jesus love with them. We love our Mondays and Friday afternoon!

We would love if you guys continue to pray for these days & to pray for the people of Budapest. Thank you guys ❤️

Tessa here! I love serving people coffee, tea, and delicious food. I love that I have time to get to know customers from different places around the world: Canada, The UK, Ireland, Australia, the States, Slovenia, Chile. These are just some of the cool people I have been able to meet while exploring the passion that God has given me for coffee and relationship building. I am so thankful to get to work with so many sweet baristas: Lily (and her sweet dog Chili), Rebeka, Jess and Sean, and Cassie. They all welcomed Bec and I with open arms and have been teaching us all about coffee and customer service since ;)

Bec here! I help out at the cafe here called Selah. Tessa and I help out where needed and connect with people who come into the cafe. I met two amazing people the other day, and we chatted on the floor while we patted their dog. We talked about all sorts of things, and I learned they were studying but at the moment they were travelling around Europe and Budapest was their last stop. It was so good to meet them and chat a little about Jesus as well. I told them about YWAM and what we do and they said that’s so interesting and exciting! And one day they want to come to Australia and check it out as well!

We are keeping in contact and they said and ‘you are a really cool person’ and that melted my heart!

Hope we build the friendship and stay in contact, they are amazing.

T E S T I M O N Y !
Bec here!
Coming on the journey to Budapest, God has really answered my prayers. I’ve always wanted to go overseas and meet people and hear their stories. Our mission is to know God and make him known. Last Friday we did evangelism with our new friends Anna and Peter at Margaret Island, the centre of Budapest. I was with Anna and we handed out gifts to people, spreading Jesus in a loving way. We asked them “what you think is the greatest gift you’ve received?” or “what’s a gift you’d love to receive?”
There were two girls we talked to, and they had so much knowledge of love and kindness and not judging what other people say, but they didn’t have too much knowledge of Jesus.
I shared my testimony with them, and they were so engaged to hear how I knew of Jesus and got impacted to know Jesus. Even though I had a few moments where I didn’t understand what was going on, I kept trusting in God and knew he was there and would lead me in the right way. I told them when I look back now I can see miracles that God gave me and saved me through car crashes that could have ended badly but didn’t. I shared how I’ve changed through my journey and that everyone has their own journey.
We invited them to come to church and will keep praying for them!
This has really challenged me to get out my comfort zone and just share my testimony and plant a seed to those people, it might not impact them straight away, but it my get them thinking or in the years to come might change their mind.
So that’s my testimony, and hope that’s impacted you! I really like being in Gods presence and just follow him where he leads me to go!
