We are almost at the halfway mark of the year. What a journey it has been so far as we have been discovering and finding life together in Christ.

As we enter the month of June, our theme is “Finding Life in Community.” In a world that often encourages independence and isolation, God purpose us to live connected, encouraging, serving, and growing together as His family.

Our book study for June will be Philippians, a powerful letter that teaches us about unity, joy, humility, partnership in the gospel, and finding true life in Christ alongside fellow believers.

Join us as we grow deeper in our relationships with God and one another, discovering that we were never meant to do life alone.

“Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.” Philippians 2:2

Good morning Everyone,

As we approach the upcoming Local Government Elections in South Africa, I want to encourage every believer to prayerfully consider their responsibility before God regarding voting.

This is not about promoting any political party or political ideology. It is about stewardship, responsibility, and being faithful citizens in the nation where God has placed us.

Scripture teaches us that governing authorities and leadership matter because their decisions directly affect the wellbeing of communities, justice, safety, infrastructure, business, families, and the freedom with which we live and worship. While our ultimate hope is never in government, Christians still have a biblical responsibility to act responsibly within society and not withdraw from it.

Romans 13 reminds us that authority is significant before God, and Jeremiah 29:7 instructs believers to seek the welfare of the city where they live. One of the practical ways we do this in a democratic nation is by participating responsibly in elections.

Not voting when we have the ability to do so is effectively surrendering influence and responsibility to others without contributing our own voice, wisdom, prayer, and conviction.

I encourage everyone to:

• Ensure you are registered to vote.
• Confirm that your registration address is correct.
• Ensure you are registered in the correct area where you currently reside.
• Check your voting station in advance.
• Pray before voting and approach it with wisdom, integrity, and responsibility.

As believers, we should not be driven by fear, anger, propaganda, or personalities, but by wisdom, discernment, responsibility, and prayer.

Regards,

Bernard Liebenberg

Why Church Still Matters

Church is more than a weekly routine—it’s where we gather as God’s family, encourage one another, grow in faith, and worship Jesus together.

Every time you choose to be present, you step into obedience, community, and God’s purpose for your life. Your presence strengthens others, your heart is refreshed by God’s Word, and you make room for Him to work in your life.

When we gather, we are reminded that faith was never meant to be lived alone. We were created for fellowship with God and with one another.

So even when you’re tired or distracted, come anyway. God meets His people when they gather in His name.

✨ Be planted.
✨ Be present.
✨ Be faithful.

Thank you for being part of Sunday service.
